It's time for
A math lesson.
The context in which you wrote your TITLE ">12.9" is read "GREATER than 12.9".
It is true that in the post you wrote "Lets weed this list out! less than 12.9 sec only." I was only trying to clarify that the way you wrote your title was incorrect.
It is also true that when you have two numbers and need to determine which is greater or lesser that the location of the numbers determines which way the symbol points. But in your case you wrote ">12.9". Which is read "GREATER than 12.9" Here is a question for you then. What number would you have to place in front of ">12.9" for the equation to be true?
i.e. ( ? > 12.9 )
Wouldn't the number have to be GREATER THAN 12.9 for the equation to hold true? You see, when you write ">" or "<" before a number (not between numbers) that it is read as ">" greater than and "<" less than.
Maybe Dr.Math can help you clarify this if you don't understand it yet. See here:
http://mathforum.org/library/drmath/view/58433.html
or if you need to see how the symbols are written and interpreted:
http://www.mathsisfun.com/equal-less-greater.html
You see in the context of how you wrote your title, I am correct.
Who's the idiot?

Although you're correct, and he had no right to bastardize the greater than/less than symbols, I don't think anyone comes here for math lessons. :-D With that said, I think anyone who posts here should list their modifications, because to my knowledge there are no stock 2.2 litre L's running 12.x second quarter miles. So what's under the hood, impreza25rstn?

thats 1/8th mile right? cuz theres no way 108 is a 12.2 quater mile trap speed. cars that run 108 trap for quarter mile is a high 12 second car. not low.

the only way to finish the debate is to show slip, but from what I recall running at Moroso, you dont get one.
and I love the math lessons, need to take a test next week and am ready now.
I miss Florida, its always warm, nice girlies at the beach, and 93 octane.
