Its not about believing you or not, those times, it comes down to science and physics really.. Anyone who would have those types of times would be FAR much prouder of their success and would post details, not just "oh, i ran a 10.9 today" expecting us to just fall on the floor, bowing like garth and wayne "we're not worthy!!" Lemme tell ya 10seconds is a hard feat, and untill you actually get there (if you ever do) please no lies. And another thing you didnt mention anything about a roll cage in your list of mods- which would be needed to run even anything below an 11.99 or they kick ur *** off the track.. so you don't think that those mods will give ten's try them yourself then.

lots of boost in a a strong motor will get you there.

as for fourth gear, to much torque on a soft gearset will REMOVE TEETH, we all know that the issue with subaru gearboxes is that they FLEX and load the gears at a tangent to the thrust, which is to be avoided.

i don't have a scanner, or a decent computer, i spent all my money on the car. if you don't believe me, thats ok.

that first trip down the 1/4 with the new motor was scary, i've had the old girl walk around on me before, but the "slicks" made it heaps worse, or maby it was the power i dunno.

maby some of you should make the trip downunder, just check when the nationals are on.

yeh i borrowed some crossply's from a friend and they made launching kinda hard.

 

i didnt know anybody with awd used slicks.

 

If you produce enough WHP you need slicks. Doesnt matter if you are AWD or what. If you have a high horsepower car slicks will help you get more grip.

 

You give people who really RUN 10's a bad name... And btw, if you had all the money to buy parts/and a wrx- buy a digi camera or scannner too- and post them pics aussie!
