Re: 2 dr wrx
There is no 2dr WRX in the US, never was. Not sure if there was a 2 dr WRX in Europe either.... I'd be nice.............
In 2001 there was a two door wrx, its a damn shame that you didn't know that.
Commandoe: you should go sell your car right now and buy a honda, and never post on a Subaru forum again. Wait your too good for a honda go buy an Chevy or Ford with all the other people that don't know what they are talking about and post nonsense.
Sn95Mike: Thank God, that your a true Subaru guy and know you info on your cars.

Well imprezer i've fought this argument before and could care less what anyone thinks of my claim. But just for your benefit I will relive my tuning experience again...
My car was modded and tuned by the premier import tuner in Toronto Canada. If you are in my region of the country you would have heard of Yoshio from Japanese Automotive in toronto, CA. He is a toyota pro mechanic from Japan.
http://www.japanese-auto.com/
He told me my car makes 90 more hp than stock now. Again his words not mine. This from a guy who has tuned 1000's of imports. This from a guy who converted a WRX import to left hand drive before one was even here for CAnadas rally team. So I tend to respect what this guy says even if its in broken english, over some people who have been tooling with their 1 subaru for a few years.....................

Nobody answered this poor guy's question, everybody's just too busy fighting.
1. It all depends on how hard you use the car and if it's properly tuned. The EJ20 is a pretty strong engine. I'm making 250hp at the wheels @19psi with no problems. You need to upgrade injectors/fuel pump and invest in some sort of engine management if you're going with anything other than the stock turbo.
2. They never made a 2dr WRX in the U.S. 2dr WRX's were produced for Europe and Japan, but only in the GC8 bodystyle (pre-2002.) All 2002-present Imprezas and WRXs are 4 or 5 door, and all American WRXs are 2002-present. So, no USM 2dr WRX. You can turbocharge a 2dr 2.5RS as the EJ25 was built to be a turbocharged engine. It can get sort of expensive, though.

Car Info: 2004 WRX in WR Blue
I stay at a constand 16.5 psi, right below the fuel cut off. The WRX can handle 18 psi safely but i would not go up much more then that. Our engines are not made like the evo or neon

don't forget that the WRX has a god awful fuel rail design. you need to fix that so that each injector gets the same pressure. we have kits for it over here, i don't know if you can get oine over there.
you gotta do this to stop one of the cylinders from leaning out!!
