Post Finally ran a 1/4 mile yesterday

After having the car for almost 2 years and running the 1/8th mile alot, I finally stretched it out and ran a full 1/4 mile. I had removed some of my mods since I ran an 8.604 @ 79.80 1/8th mile, but here is the rundown of my best run of the day.

RT: 0.299 (my worst of the day)
60': 1.889
330': 5.651
660': 8.821 @ 77.12
1000': 11.576
1320': 13.906 @ 95.90

This was bouncing off of the rev limiter 2-3 times right before the finish line. Mods at the time of the run were Helix uppipe, FIS tuned Unichip, TurboXS HPMBC @ 14.8psi, K&N drop-in, and 225/45 Sumitomo HTRZ-II's on 17" Rota Subzeros. The track altitude was 1500' and the temp was mid 80's and high humidity. Not as fast as I had hoped, but not disappointed either.

Thunder Valley Raceway in Noble, Ok. The time would've been quicker in Ennis. Altitude at TVR is about 1500 and Ennis 500. I was up there as part of the Texas Muscle Car Club Challenge series.

Good job! You probably would get a better time with better track conditions.

Times will be better when I run the 1/4 again next month. I'll be running at a track that is about 500-600' altitude. And after tonight, I'll have a full Invidia turboback installed. Should be much quicker then.
