Question Is this cheating

I ran the 1/4 in 13.239@101 with all season tires in my STi two weeks ago. This weekend I am going back out. This time I will have the stock potenza's on it. I am also going to put ice in the I/C resivior, bag of ice on the I/C while waiting to race, bag of ice on the intake manifold, and running 100 octane unleaded racing fuel. Will this constitute as a stock run?

Overkill

The 100 octane will probably be overkill. Unless you are tuned with engine management for higher octane, it will be wasted $.

no it's not cheating, why are you concerned? Is there like a rule that you can't have mods?

I ended up just using the bag of ice on the i/c. Couldnt find the race fuel station. Anyway, my in car temp gauge was reading 86. So it was hot as f*ck outdoors today. Best e/t was 13.8 but I beat a WRX wagon, Lighning, and LS1 Z-28. Also ran against a 12sec Chevy HD with a Duramax.

Actually race gas will make a difference in your car. Any car with a knock sensor will give loads of timing advance when it sees little to no knock counts (i.e. race fuel). Also you should use dry ice, it's cheap and VERY cold. you could stuff it in air scoop and watch it fly forward when you get on the brakes at the end of your run. I ran a 13.6 @ 99 with 3"turbo back and 110 leaded octane. Rich, but had tons of timing advance.
