just because it is old doesnt mean it is less durable

the old suby turbo motors from the 80s all had forged pistons
my guess would be that the older 300Zs are too

went to the california speedway recently.. at the drags.. the twin turbo 300ZX's were wooping on camaros.. apparently there was a camaro vs Z grudge since both krew went to drags rollin deep..

as a witness and spectator.. those TT Z's were woopin A S S . beat all the camaro's, all ran 11.5- to 11.9 1/4 times. very sick. this one old skool 280Z had a custom swap with a twin turbo 300ZX engine dropped in. that thing represented for the imports that night with a 10.1 1/4 at 148MPH.

to take on those Z's, WRX's need rebuilt internals, then it will have a chance or then it will own. for example ESX tony rigoli's rebuilt imprezas.

those Z's were using stock internals. as a WRX owner, i i know where i stand.

stock internals can hit up to 12's for an EJ20.

looks like ultimate racing recently hit 11.8 with ej20 stock internals!! so im wrong about the the previous statement hehe

more power to the ej20!! good shiet
