Thats why your good driving budy is only running 13.10 with mods, if his reaction time was better maybe high twelves.
LOL. your gonna get flamed... anyways, if you knew anything about drag racing, the reaction times dont matter. you can sit there all day after the light turns green and then launch 30 minutes later and you will still get your normal 1/4 time... reaction time only to see who gets to the finish line first....

I'm afraid that it does so, how fast you get off the line is what matters. I thought you did drag to race hence the name drag race

reaction time is reaction to the tree. it doesn't effect you 1320 time, I don't know what kinda of tree you are using and obviously you don't either if you believe what you are saying, who told you that. slap that fool upside his head for giving you that bad info. and do youself a favor and didn't say that again.
60 ft 1.79 , the quarter in 13.411@ 100.82 mph. Full tank of fuel, I'll my crap in the car,(laptop, briefcase etc.) and let's just say I'm big boned. This was at Sear Point so of course there was a constant freakin' headwind like there is every Wed. night. Plus the track runs uphill. Granted it is a difference of 8 ft from start to finish, but I'm looking for every excuse I can think of.

Joe
The lowest times stock STis have run are 12.9-13.0x @ 102-104. Those are exceptional times and not the norm. It seems most people run 13.1-13.4 @ 101-102.
The STi is heavily dependent on octane, shifting points (redline in the higher gears isn't the best spot apparently) and temperature/humidity.
Oh and your time doesn't start until you break the beam at the starting line. Duh.

Please don't speak unless something factual leaves your mouth. I can't stand people spreading misinformed BS over message boards.

R.T. does not hurt you on your runs....its only use is for Bracket racing purposes....but make sure your 60ft and 1/8mile is good....thats what you need to look for...and a simple way to correct your reaction time...is simply rev it to 5k...last orange light slip the clutch (launch)...and thats it...hope that answers ur ???
thanks...
