I went to Mid Michigan Motorplex (Stanton) last sunday. It was about 45 out and windy. The track wasnt sticky at all. I was on all season tires. The only modifications my car has is a drop in K&N and a silencer delete elbow. My best run of the day was 13.239@101. Then I got stuck in the 13.4's and couldnt get out (seven runs). Followed by my worst run of the day 13.8@97. I bogged the launch horribly, but I still beat a GTO that ran a 14.047@102.29. Talked to the guy before the race and he said that the car couldnt hook up at all. Every time I launched the fronts gave off some smoke and a few times I got 2nd to chirp. My 60 ft was a constant 1.7xx except vs. the GTO was a 1.996. To try to get out of the 13.4's I removed the spare tire, that didnt do anything to help my times. Think I can pull a 13.1 with the Bridgestones back on it. Otherwise it was a fun day.
