Trunk Conversion or not?

Alright guys I need help, I have an 02 Subaru WRX, its in blue pearl black (O8V) I want an STi wing for my car but I heard that you have to have an STi Trunk? Is this true? or will the STi wing fit on my trunk?

it will fit but you will have to drill holes into your trunk

do you know of any website were i can find the measurements to drill holes?

the STI wing will fit but I've heard that the trunk won't stay up because of the extra weight. You may have to get the trunk springs from an STI. Alot of STI guys want the WRX or wingless trunk, you may want to switch it with someone.
