sti trunk swap

hi huys first time posting, i have a friend that wants to trade his wing for my stock wrx trunk, does any1 have any instructions on how to do it, i know you have to replace the lid, lock cylinder, and springs, but i dont know the steps to do this. help is greatly needed, thanks

To make your life easier, first unbolt the trunks. Then, get the locks out. They're tough to get the locks out and you might mess up the horse shoe piece (you can always get another one at the dealership). Then after you've swapped the locks, undo the springs.

Then just follow in reverse order to put on the new trunks. GL.

It's a bit hard to pop the springs, and it's even harder to get them in. But don't worry, you will be able to manage. I did mine myself .
