Ok, ive searched and havent come up with anything. Im swapping my tranny for a 6spd and I am wondering, since the gear ratios are different, is it going to mess my computer up. I talked to a mechanic today that might do the swap for me and he said check because with some cars hes had, if the gear ratios are different, it will mess up the computer. And if i dont end up swapping my tranny and end up rebuilding it with an RA gearset, i dont have to get it tuned so my computer understands the new gear ratios do i? any help is greatly apprciated.

 

Anybody? can a mod move this to the impreza transmission section then. maybe ill get a response there. i need info asap!!
