the bugeye transmission and rear end will NOT support the power.
you can do it... its easy, but...you will break the transmission's gears and POP the rear diff.

I've personally done the center diff welding..its easy, just takes forever and ever.

Doesn't RMR Sell The spine to lock the center diff? or was that only for the EVO?
and would that work on my 93 LS?

Why would you want to go from AWD to RWD in a car that was designed around an AWD drivetrain?

...why not just get a RWD car to start with if that's what you want? I mean, anything can be done with enough money and time... but do you really want a $50,000 WRX?

its by MRT im pretty sure

how could the gears not haddle it? i would think the stress wouldnt be as high because you could spin the hweels instead of all four hooking up?

^^^hahahha. because theyre drifting. there are some people that go RWD, but always have problems breaking trannies and axles. if you were to just daily drive it, there wouldnt be a problem. but if your just gonna do that, then why go RWD?
