I'm talking about engine codes here. I have research and read many forums about the faqs and opinions about the EJ207 types. If you know some specification or add to this statement that is a faq, please edit this thread.
Staring here.
I figured out

Subaru code
G=Impreza
S=Forester
B=Legacy

Body Type
F=Wagon
C=sedan

JDM Subaru Impreza code
EJ20G= older Impreza
EJ20K=Middle age
EJ207=Latest age
EJ20R=GTB/B4

But the most concern is about the spec c Type ra. As far I know is here added to this thread, but most of it I trying to pull out as much I know of about that engine type.

Here it is

MY01 1st production year
GDAA,GDBB,GGAA etc.
Version 7

MY02 2dn prodution year
GDAB,GDAB,GGAB etc.
Also version 7

MY03 3rd production year
GxxC (GDAB etc.)
Version 8 feature body upgrade and twin scroll turbo

EJ207DWxx

EJ207=Turbo engine
D=JDM
N=NON JDM (aussies,NZ or UK)
W=6sp tranny
EJ=Spec c type RA non AC
CJ=Spec c non Type RA, AC
CR=WRX STI non type RA
ER=S202, STI limited edition spec c w/AC
(few non AC I don't know why)

I have many question about that engine type base on features and perfromances.
I know in faq that the code represent also the turbo type VF30 to VF34, which I don't know what year or the codes. The long block on all type engine are the same, but i'm trying to figured out about the TGV's and DCCD and such. Keep it updated.
