Good motor, but it is a must to know the engine code to make sure it is a Spec C as well as which Spec C so that the motor can be properly IDed.

I'm not sure about the engine, but I know there a few differences.

but japan has higher octane at the pump so take taht into consideration too like 98

properly tuned for the states, the spec c RA motor should have around 280-310 WHP , like if you live here in ghay *** cali with the crappest gas on earth it would be close to 280><

I agree I am not sure about the motor but I know the differance between the spec-c and the type RA is that the RA doesnt have ac, possibly no ps, no power windows, no radio. It's more of a rally ready version. Kinda like the evo rs

^^If that is true then the engine is not what he says it is. He claims it is an R/A but he says it comes with a/c and power steering pump.
