Okay I own an Automatic '98 Impreza RS as my project car. I drive a '04 STi right now. I found a V4 front clip for sale and I think I am going to buy it. What other parts will I need? I may leave everything with a RHD set-up if that is easier. I was told that the auto rear diff, has the same ratio as the one in the STi so I don't need a new diff. I am no expert though, so I would apprieciate as much help as you all are willing to give. I will also be swaping from a auto to manual tranny. you would need a fuel pump that is capable enough. but if the front clip comes with everything like it's supposed to you shouldn't need anything else. Also i hear that it is quite a chore to convert an automatic car to a manual car. Sport compact Car said it's not worth the effort unless you get the car for free.

 

sorry to dig this up, but i'm having troubles finding an older clip.

i bought a 95 L as a project car (auto) for $1000. I'm looking to get a v4-6 clip with low mileage..

but...i can't find anyone that has clips around here (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada).

d'you guys know of any reputable places in the states/canada?
