ej16 gearbox,will it cope with ej25 swap
hi folks,quick question
i have a 94 ej16 fwd and am planning on putting an ej25 from a 98 legacy in there
just need to know how the gearbox will cope,i know it fits but going from 90bhp to 165bhp
i see you guys have done a few ej25 to ej18 swaps with no probs and im pretty sure the box is the same
any advice

supermoose:i already have a complete ej20 motor sitting(i was going to swap this in before i thought of the ej25)
i have read a few good threads on here but am still unsure about which way to go in terms of wiring
cant decided if i should use my ej20 ecu and just fot the ej25 block to my cylinder heads(ej20)or put the whole motor in
what did you do?

put the whole Ej20 inyour car. why build a ugly hybrid from a NA motor when you have a purpose built EJ20 turbo motor>?
put the ej20 in, set it up and drive it.
sell the ej25 and spend the money on beer
