Hello everybody, New here from P.R.
I just finished my 2004 2.5RS project with BIG injectors, turbo, pipings from I/C & exhaust, etc... and obiously my stock clutch can'not stand the many ponies now I have.

I need help on "What clutch should I buy?"
I read that any WRX clutch will fit my RS and friends recomended stage ahead of 700 wheel HP level.

I think that my best option is going for a 6MT/clutch swap, but that cash will be gained in a year or two or 3.

Please help me choosing out and if I can buy a stage 4 & up wrx clutch!

 

Depending on how much power you are actually making, you are more than likely gonna have to do a 6 speed swap, or RA gears at the least. I dont know about the 02+ RS's, but the older RS's are a push type transmission, whereas the 02+ WRXs/STi's are pull types and the clutches are different I believe, so you can't just swap the clutch and pressure plate, although I could be wrong. Subaru very well may have switched the newer RS tranny to the WRX pull type, that is something you will have to look up cuz I just dont know. If you are making upwards of 300whp, then the 6 speed is probably the way to go. Im not saying ur stocker can't handle it, because it can if you are careful...it just depends on how nice you are to it while dirving
