4EAT to JDM 6spd w/DCCD...

So I'm converting for auto to manual and I just found out that the transmission that I'll be receiving will have DCCD. How do I wire this thing up so that I can correctly use the DCCD function?

Has anyone done a write up on this already?

I originally purchased a NON DCCD transmission but for some reason the tranny was no good and the company needed to get me another "FRONT CLIP" finally got word and it has DCCD on it.

According to everything that I've been reading a NON DCCD trans should just bult up to my WRX no problem but now that it's got DCCD I'm not sure now.

I've also got an AUTO ECU... I've heard (since the auto ECU is used to look at more sensors etc) that I can use the AUTO ECU with this tranny... Will I have a problem with the DCCD now?

also does anyone know if the DCCD function is connected into the ECU somehow?

Also how do I get the gauge cluster and the dccd buttons to work together (JDM V8 gauge cluster)

there is a seperate dccd computer that controls it... it will bolt up the same as a trans without dccd i wouldnt bother trying to wire the dccd if you got the money i would just swap out the conter diff to a mechanical one if not just install it without the controler it will run fine.. if you do it that way it will act like a 65/35 split

hey dave... i know you posted this a while ago but how do you know that it will run the 65/35 front split?

my trans have a 35/65 with the DCCD but why does it change to more front without the controller?

will do dude... I'm just waiting on the trans.. it should be here this week (if not tomorrow). I plan on starting shortly after that though... just have to get some off time though.

The DCCD system is exactly like the one in the 04 USDM STI. I think I'll try to wire the AUTO up as well.

According to numerous places... I cannot use the auto since it's wired into the ABS system...etc. I'll see if I can get it to work... However, how do I know that it's working though?
