3.0 H6 -> 1st Gen Legacy

Considering this or building a custom EJ25 to throw in it once I find the car I want. Passing inspection/emissions is irrelivant since it will be an off-road/track car.

Questions:

Weight difference between the 3.0 H6 and the EJ25?
Ease of inserting an H6 into a 1st Gen?
Ease of connecting a new 6-speed (to the H6, since I figure the EJ25 would be nearly a perfect fit)?
Aftermarket support for the H6?

The aftermarket support for the EJ25 will be much more than for the H6.

The h6 would put a hugh amount of weight farther forward and would make the car unbalanced. Atleast thats what I would think. The h6 would be awsome in a drag car with twin turbos.
