Why would you want to convert an AWD car to FWD? I am not understanding this....

+1.....WTF? I could understand a RWD conversion.

If you want FF you should buy a Honda.

Here are the steps required to get your car to FWD.

1. drive to Honda dealership
2. trade car in for Honda
3. realize what you just did and the true meaning of self pwnage.

nothing wrong with a FWD car, but why in the world would you want to go from AWD to FWD?

Yes, that's a very inefficient thing to do.

Swapping in an old FWD gearbox would do the trick. You would see a slight improvement in fuel economy, but nothing monumental. Trading the car in would be far easier.
