Ok so I have a 98 legacy 2.5 gt and i am thinking of putting a ej20dett into it. Does anyone know if this will fit, i have heard that they have problems fitting into imprezas?

 

subaru's are like lego's, almost any part from a 93'+ model can be swapped with even a new car. Im confused because you said you have a legacy so why would the motor not fitting in an impreza be a problem? oh well maybe im not understanding you. In either case that motor is from an turbo legacy (b4 i believe). The engine will fit but you might have to make some room for the second turbo.

I have a legacy too, its a 99 silverthorn gt but to awancer your ?, it will fit but if your are talking about the twin tubro motor it will not fit in a laft hand drive car because of the stearing if you want more infoon the swap check out www.sl-i.net there a lot of us legacy owners there and a cupple that have done the swap
