I offer to do a trade with him. My sedan fenders, sedan bumper, hood, STi hoodscoop, STi fog coveres, and my JDM hid projectors all for $500. He didn't want to drive to my house, so for the sake of making things easier, I offered to drive from Fremont to him in Modesto, which is over an hour away.
After being patient and trying to give him a pretty ****ing good deal he only responded with "You just talked yourself out of a deal". Rofl. I'm STi projectors ALONE go for $1,000 or more. And im throwing in a STi hoodscoop and fog covers? How do you expect me to do a straight trade.
And I'm a dick? ****ing ridiculous.
Thumbs down to this guy.

I am not going to take sides or anything, but I have a friend who had his headlights on his Prelude retrofitted with projectors. I think after everything said and done, it came out to about $700. That's a lot of money. I would think Subaru projectors would be in the ballpark of about the same price.

He said that he wanted to trade with my specifically because I had projectors. I use to have stock headlights with the koji mod, and If i still had them i could trade with him. But now i have the jdm projectors, and they do cost more than the stock headlights. So If he wanted to trade we could do it, but he'd just have to pay for the projectors, and at $500, is a complete rip off.
And the excuse about his parts being "newer". I don't quite comprehend that concept. If newer is better, than why is he willing to do a straight trade to an "older" model. Obviously, the age has nothing to do with it.

ok listen up... First of all I simply told him that I wasn't interested and that I wish him good luck on his swap. He came back with a "ROFL **** You!" and signed off. I'm simply not interested in paying out $500... And I never said "he talked me out of a deal" but whatever dude. No big deal, go about your way and you do have a nice car. kudos
