Where can I find two used 255/35/18 Michelin Pilot Sport tires???

I need two used Michelin Pilot Sport tires (not ps2 or a/s) in 255/35/18.

Need them asap. Anybody know of any tires shops that have used tires? Or if you have a pair laying around? Any tips or advice on where I can find them would be greatly appreciated.

used is going to be a sketchy thing. you need to check the depth of your tread on the other tires and make sure they are within limits of the used ones you pick up.

Thanks for the heads up. I know the scoobs gotta have pretty equal tires. I got such a good deal on two of these (traded a lift ticket for a pair!) that I couldn't say no. So i'm willing to hunt for two good matches. There's one at a Modesto shop, and if it matches then I will just need one more which shouldn't be too hard since I think these are OE tires for BMW and Porsches.

You wouldn't happen to know how close the specs need to be?

its either 2/32nds or 4/32nds, i could be wrong but I would stay as close to even as possible. if you have to, buy the tire from tirerack and they shave tires too. Or find a tire shop that shaves tires down for you, should only be about $30.

Michelin Power Sport =$300 (each) on tirerack. No way.

What do you think about running the 255? I may have to dial a little camber. I want to make the wheel gap less to. Hopefully I can get away with running this wide of tire.

I swear 18x9 is like the worst size for me. I can't find the tire that has enough sidewall and still fits reasonably. My other alternative is a 235/40, which i've seen some stretched and some good looking. Don't want stretch, but also want enough sidewall height.

That's where it gets complicated. The 245/40 is too tall. The 235/40 is too stretched, the 255/35 is hard to clear. My 225/40 that I have right now is just stupid ridiculous...you'll see this saturday.

I'm gonna keep your car as some inspiration to finding that finesse.
