Hey tell John i said "wussup", i've known the owner for years now. I remember going to the very first "Autosport Addiction" car show way back in the day, when it was located at the old spot on March Ln. I even won a free radar detector that day in the prize raffle & i had just barely put my name in it too (i guess they didn't shake it good enough & just picked my name right off the top haha). KWIN was there also, good times dude!

Yeah i'm pretty sure KWIN (97.7) was there, i remember their little booth & they're the ones who held the prize raffle i won. That was when the aftermarket scene (especially imports) was big & tuner shops did everything for you. Nowadays it's all do it yourself & anyone can order their own stuff online, i'm surprised this shop lasted this long. John's a good guy though, we get along well. I remember his Supra he sold a while back. Can't forget my Stockton (209) roots homie!

are they charging for parking again? i remember when i went down there for the last meet, we had to pay to park/register or park in the next plaza's parking lot. parking lot is kinda small

Oh you have to pay now, well that sucks! Maybe John will let me in for free since i know him personally & have given him alot of business in the past lol. Yeah that new spot has a small parking lot, don't know how everyone's gonna fit there. You can always park at Suzie's though haha!

I went to the one in 2006. Was real small, only about 15 cars in the show. About 40-50 people, most staying for only 30 minutes.
Mostly non-show-quality cars. There's a Viper and Ferrari that shows up every year I believe.
I heard the shows got real big and better now (2011). I might show up the next time.
John charged me $80 to install a lip one time. I was such a noob who knew nothing at all. It was my first car and I barely turned 18. I was going to do it myself but my brother who's also a newb said I need it done professionally. I already read a DIY online (LOL).
Anyways, I felt ripped off when I found out all he did was slap it on with normal screws.
Lip was crooked and screws were uneven. Meaning, on the driver's side, the screw was high and passenger side was low. It bothered me.
Yep...
