Don't get Perrin catless TBE if you want stealth.

Ryan's Bosal shorty pipe, to gutted factory midpipe is pretty sweet stealth idea. Looks stock, but doesn't sound or smell stock though. lol

I've never been pulled for exhaust either. Just for "driving too fast in the snow."

Any catted dp will be quieter than a catless one. I thinks its hard to say that one catted dp is quieter than the other. The cat does a pretty good job of muffling sound, but if you really to be quiet then you should just invest into a quiet catback system since that's where most of the sound is muffled.

Titek is inexpensive from what I have heard.

^^^the greddy evo2 is one of the quietest behind the spt and hush. i have heard the cobb catted is the quietest but just wanted a second and maybe third opinion . The cobb is very expensive so is it worth the price differance
between it and the titek ?

ive been pulled over twice now for exhaust. i had my hood popped with a catless tbe with no heatshield and he didnt notice anything other than my cold air. if i was you i would just get a catless dp and use stock heatshield and have a quiet exhaust. if you ever get ticketed for modified exhaust just swap your stock dp back on and you will pass the decible test with your quiet exhaust. than you would have the paperwork to show the cops that your exhaust is within legal limits

The evo2 is nice. I almost bought one, but it was too pricey at the time when I was looking for a CBE.
As far as I know, the Invidia dp and Cobb db are some of the best out there and many swear by them. But they are pricey. I have heard both good and bad about titek so I don't know about them. I've never heard anything bad about the Invidia other than the price.

+1 That's why I didn't want one. But when you are given a nice setup for free, you really can't complain.
I have a nice black spot above my muffler on my bumper. hahahaha

the spt is loud when a bellmouth, catted or non catted dp is put in front of it lol..

i say, get yourself the Bosal shorty dp, use the stock midpipe cat and you will be very quiet...

How are you smelling your exhaust all the way back there? Running super rich, driving backwards, or trying to commit suicide in closed garage? hahaha

I found the perfect dp for you Damian. Made by Subaru, not catless and runs good... $300obo
