So I would like to know if there are ever meets in or remotely close to Fresno. I'm new to this site and the subie life, and it would awesome to get familiar with subie owners in my area.

 

As far as i know there arnt. i may be wrong though. if you dont mind driving to Turlock on the last Saturday of every month they have the meets there at the In N Out

 

Damn that kind of sucks, I was hoping there would be meets here because I see a lot if subies here in town. As for driving to Turlock, I would go but my car is a piece of crap right now and I would probably be way too embarrassed to show up hahaha. I'm fixing it up to look nice slowly but surely.

So I would also like to know if there is anyone here from Fresno?

 

We have a few Fresno peeps on here, but i mostly hear about them on the local Fresno racing pages, makes me wonder if i'd even want them to come to the meets in my little town, lol. No real action meet wise down there, at least not posted up on i-club. Btw welcome to the club, and don't worry about not fitting in, i'm a n/a stock bugeye in the midst of a bunch of modded wrx and sti, we aren't all about bragging rights and who's car has more ballz up here, any subie driver is welcome, hell subadubaru is rockin fankensubie, white, black, blue, primer and pink, its all good.

I live in Hanford but I did 2 little subie meets in fresno, not a lot of them are down for the bigger subaru gatherings. I have a buddy whos a VW guy and he attends the Euro Sundays that go down the first sunday of every month. Where they meet now for Euro Sunday's Im not sure it used to be at the bently market place off friant but now I got no clue. I will try to find out and let you know ima try to make this euro sunday my first/last time i went it was really cool there was another subie there and the guys name was Clint he has a 07STI pretty neat STI.

I do wanna try to arrange a meet in fresno/hanford for subies and other vehicles mainly ***/euro cars, but mainly subies .

 

I'm from Fresno (but I'm in Korea until the end of Jan). I have a good amount of Subie friends that get together every weekend. They don't come on this forum though.

Fresno guy chiming in :P

We have been lacking in meets recently but a lot of us Fresno guys have been on the down low lately also. With my car being down also I have lacked motivation to push the matter lol. We had some pretty good meets back in the day though and a group of us even came down to a Turlock meet once. If anyone starts up a meet I'll do my best to spread the word. Just make sure you have a firm location and time.

Only Suggestion I have is please don't hold meets on Blackstone PLEASE! especially on a weekend lol. Everyone who forms a meet for some reason wants to hold it on Blackstone.

 

Come to think of it, our "subaru" meets usually only consists of us friends getting together on the weekend and just chillaxing, can't really consider that a meet. haha

But it'll be nice to meet other Subaru owners in town when I get back.

 

I've been to one or two of the Fresno meets, but was never really impressed. I now stick to an occasional Turlock meet.

 

I'm from Fresno, but my cars been down for like 4 months now, nothing bad of course. Clint, you need to get your car back on the road. It's been too long lol.

I'd love to, but I have a full time demanding career and I go to school full time . Plus, I haven't had my car for 4 months now lol.
