not if it under 98 decibels technically....

the rules are very indecisive but thats the rule i go by... even tho i break it lol

 

the rule is you cant be over 97, correct? but modifying your exhaust even if you are below the decibel reading is modifying emissions, they screw you either way

 

Had a friend who is a ref test the db level on my hks turbo back and it passed. 96.4db. Legal limit is 95 with a 1.5 allowance. This was 2.5 years ago though. So why is hks illegal?

I had a Invidia street CBE. It was quieter than most, but still had a really nice deep rumble. It's just sitting in my garage now. I now have a Perrin catless TBE and that **** is LOUD.

that's loud. You'd fit in with all the straight piped trucks, diesels, geo metros, and harleys in my area. lol

My GSXR has a motoGP pipe. It's louder than that.

WOW! Then mine should be about the same cuz we have the same exhaust

 

They are the same, the carbon-Ti is the SS muffler wrapped in carbon and a Ti tip... Same piping, same diameter, same size 100%. Thats HELLA crazy huh?
