Last night I was in the Stockton Area, and out of no where in the middle lane was a peice of concret and i went to swerve and almost hit the truck in the next lane.
Destroyed my front lip, and destroyed the downpipe also!!
FML!!

ddddaaaaaammmmnnnnnnnnn, that's the most mangled DP ive ever seen. Doesnt hurt to see wat the insurance can offer, unless its just higher rates =/.

 

helix dp is like 150 and anothe replica lip is like 100 bucks so id say no dont turn it into insurance

 

Have Cal Trans pay for it?

Ive heard of ppl doing that.

 

most of the time it will work if it is from their mess but if it's just a piece of concrete from some construction truck, doubt they will cover it.

everyone watch out, there has been some bad luck in our area lately...

 

Well after more evaluation looks like I will be going to insurance. Part of the subframe is smashed up pretty badly next to the downpipe. Also when looking in the rear the gas tank is smashed up too. So this totally changes everything. Ahhh

 

Damn man, that blows.
