ya i know huh! i was gonna give him **** for it...but then i thought about it, and was like...uh hwy 12 goes through VS also...and is like 1.5 miles from hwy 12 so i let it slide

well u can get to pardee for free....the lookout point by the dam, not the waters edge. taken some good pics around there:

Me and my friend with the R32 found an awesome spot in Turlock for pics. Its back behind a church and you can drive out on the big lawn area in back. There's almond (i think) trees in the foreground and redwoods on one side so there's some awesome scenery. Maybe next Saturday after we leave Subaru of Turlock?

How do i get there?? I'm going for a drive with the GF this Sat to get out of town and into some country. Was thinking we would stop at hogan for a quick pic detour, and smoke break, lol.

Have been to New Melones Lake off of 49? I've never been and i was wondering if it was a free Lake.

 

oh ya melones is pretty much free this time of year, when ur going through angels camp and u get to gloryhole gas station turn right...pretty much across from the fair grounds, before u go across the hella savage bridge. if u turn in at gloryhole or whatever it wnids down to the river and has a bunch of differant places to go.

to get to pardee, when ur on 12, in burson u make a left at teh only intersection in town, then turn right about 1 mile down the road, go down that for one mile and it will have signs for pardee and CHHP, turn left. go down for like 10 miles and u make a right at the water well in the middle of the road and as soon as u get a chance u make another right at the first road.

if my directions are :wacko: just ignore and mapquest. lol
