Wassup fellas, ok so last night when coming home on the free way. I decided to drop my car into 4th and hit vtec yo lol. Anyways right after i dropped the gear it felt like my fuel cut and it bogged on me. Throwing a CEL and made the cruise control light blink. Today i ran my accesport and checked my codes. Im running the Cobb Stg 2 map.

P1518: Starter switch circuit low input

P0851: Neutral switch input circuit low

P1153: o2 sensor circuit range/performance bank 1 sensor 1

P1152: 02 sensor circuit range/performance low bank 1 sensor 1

P0244: Turbocharger wastegate solenoid 'A' range performance


I did a reset on my ecu and nothings popped up so far. Im just kinda worried i might have troubles later on.... Help meeeeeeee!!!!!

Yeah me either rob!!! Lol I'll take a look though, car runs fine. I reset it and nothings popped up since last night. Idk maybe a bug?

 

my cruise is blinking and my cel is on.. I didnt do anything major to car..it happened after an oil change..i drive an 07 wrx... i had the shop reset it and it went away...it came BACK ..i had the car checked and NOTHING is wrong.. but it's still on..it just bugs me that it doesnt go away.. Everything was fine before and I havent changed any performance parts in forever.

Matt have you done anything electrical with the car lately? Any subs or amps? Battery secured and terminals clean and tight? Did you overboost at all? You fill up gas at the same place you normally do for that tank of gas?

 

Prolly bad sensors.

 

Nah dude nothing new at all. Ill check the battery and terminals. Im not sure if i over boosted, i dont have a boost gauge installed yet. And gas is the same as normal. I did reset and reload my map this morning and no CEL yet. It runs fine with no problems. I havent done any pulls with it though

Same cel popped up on me today in similar situation. On the freeway, downshifted to
5th gear to pass and boom...at about 5,500 rpm the fuel cut and no power, cel came on and cruise light blinking. I am on a custom stg 2 tune. Checked the code and cleared it. Called FLI-I just so happened to be on my way there for my 20g and E85 install. That is the first cel I have ever had so it surprised me. They told me that may happen at times with a stg 2 map, if it keeps happening you should definately get it checked out. I'm pretty sure Cobb has a map for cars that continue to overboost. As for as all the other codes popping up-not sure. I have a feeling they are all related to the overboost. Good luck!

Matt, if I were you I'd have it checked out just in case, I've had cel pop up every once in a while and with my car it's just a hose that came loose. Hopefully it was just the overboosting like someone mentioned. Good luck!

Overboost. Pull the positive cable off and it will reset, common for stage 2
