D. Fantom,
I absolutely love the whole -"Subaru's have no money in them from the factory, it's all about volume"- That line's been used since 1970. I can understand not wanting to go much off of MSRP on the 09's but don't try the b.s. and claim that there's no profit per car. If you had no profit in them, you wouldn't be selling them. A dealership can Always come off of MSRP if they want to give "Great deals"
Good luck right now with your sales. And btw, Don't tell me Ford is going under. We're not. And for anyone that thinks it's funny that GM, Ford, and Chrysler are struggling, do a little fact finding. The percentage of the United States' work force that are tied to these three companies is astronomical. Think it'd be funny if the feds had to do another bailout?
Happy Afterhalloween!

Lol, no I'm actually having a pretty good one!
It's just rough hearing so many people consistently talking down about American companies, especially Ford for whom I work. Seems like it's becoming the cool thing to do to American bash when people don't realize that if all three went under, this country could likely move from a Recession to a De.......
I own a Ford AND a Subaru It is possible!

lol... my family owns subaru, honda, cadillac, and nissan/infinti(both companies lol) we are a japanies car family for the most part..
but brian, we may fall into a De........ but we will come right out of it, the majority of the cars bought in the U.S. aren't american cars, i know its hard to hear that the company u work for is going down slowly, i know since i am in training for GM.. and everyday i think about quitting it for another trade cause i dont want to be left hanging when GM goes down the drain.. but those three companies no longer hold the U.S. up any longer.. it use to be the saying, "If GM goes down, so will the U.S economy", but in these days i dont believe this saying abides any longer due to the fact that when that saying was brought about, GM was the biggest car manufacturer and seller in the U.S., but they are no longer in that reign. its hard to say it, but i dont believe the american car companies will have a great affect on our economy especially with the way our economy is right now, if they fall through
