On cold start, its fine. But after driving around for a while, warmed up and all, grinds going second to third. No other gear. Makes me sad any suggestions?

My car is a 99 Impreza L around 170xxx on it.

I had a slight grind from third to 4th at high rpms. I did uncle Scottie's cocktail Mix for the tranny and never had it again.

 

Have you changed your tranny fluid? I had a slight grind into 5th while I had my GC and I put in Red Line Superlight weight shock proof and I had no issues after that.

 

Cocktail mix?

You can get the pennz synchromesh and hypoy locally if amazon shipping is too much. The shockproof heavy is prolly cheaper online.
