Shoot me some ideas on your acceptable price range. I have the space and the patience. My wife may not as I have her VW sitting on the side of the house which I'm considering parting out.
Background on the motor? Why so much less on the motor than the chassis? Who built it. Stock rebuild? How long on the tune. Etc.
All stuff like that will help you.
In situations like this people are scared to buy something and find out that the tranny is busted or the motor has an issue. I know you had it checked out... how did they confirm that the pieces are o.k.?
If you need a place to part it out and help doing it maybe we can work something out.
