Gauge'n Intrest in a trade
Gauge'n Interest in a trade
I am curious if anyone would actually be interested in a car trade. I have a baby on the way and some back seats would be nice. Also I would like one more Subie to go along side my Wife’s WRX. I rather not sell it if I can trade it for what I would like to own anyway
My Car
2000 Spectra Blue MR2 spyder purchased August of 2K.
Miles: a bit over 47K
Dealer oil changes every 3K miles like clockwork. The dealer or myself performed all other major maintenance.
No major issues, only the belt tensioner was replaced, along with a broken heat shield.
Comes with these items installed:
TRD Sportivo suspension package (struts, springs, stabilizer bars, bushings)
TRD front strut tower brace
TRD rear strut tower brace
TRD Member brace set
TRD alum. Dash kit (top center piece has typical fading for this item)
TRD billet alum shift **** and center piece
TRD and JDM badges
B&M short shift kit
iMR2 anti-flex plate (series 1)
Auto Power Roll Bar
SS brake lines on all four
R4S brake pads up front 45% life left
Greddy Oil adp. Plate
Greddy Oil Temp gauge mounted to the driver side A-pillar
A-Tech Final speed wheels (12lbs each 15x7) Bridgestone S-03 tires mounted w/65% - 75% life remaining.
Python Alarm w/proximity sensor, starter kill, trunk and hood open sensors
The tranny is using Redline fluid, and the brakes are using Motul600
The motor has no moods other than a slightly modified intake to the air box. I am more of a twisty driver than a drag racer so I left well enough alone.

Most of the stock items that were replaced by the aftermarket items were kept and will be given over with the spyder. Items like the Struts, springs, and factory braces.
Also included:
2nd set of front rotors already turned and ready to go.
2nd set of wheels and tires (Stock wheels with Bridgestone RE-750s mounted. w/50% life remaining.
History/Condition:
I have had lots of fun with this car and many a smile filled day has been spent on twisty roads. Not much has been able to keep up with this street legal go-kart on back road twisties. My spyder has seen 3 club/track days and performed VERY well. The front bumper does have a lot of rock chips and some may want to repaint it. It did not bother me so I never did. The hood also has a few rock chips. Once it was bumped in a parking lot. This caused one of the headlight inner casings to be cracked, and the fender to be bent. Both were replaced with parts directly from Toyota, and you would never know if I had not said something. This spyder runs strong and has been well taken care of mechanically. Other than the rock chips this spyder is great condition.
The Car I am most interested in:
A 00 – 01 2.5RS coupe of equal condition.
