SOLD
1995 Legacy wagon 5 speed 175,000 miles $3000
I bought this car in June of 2005, it had 144,000 miles on it. I have carfax outlining its history if anyone is interested. When I bought it I had a lot of parts replaced, and have receipts for almost all maintenance done while I owned it.
The car was in an accident in April of 2006, hit a deer, replaced hood, passenger headlight, and radiator. This is why the hood is red and the grill is not installed, although I have the grill available if you want to put it in. The radiator support on the passenger side was lightly damaged but I was able to bend it back into shape, this can be seen in the pictures. I also have some pictures of the car when it was still damaged that I can PM if anybody wants to see them.
The car currently has Nokian RSI 215/60-16 snow tires on it with lots of tread, I also have Kumho ASX 205/55-16 tires but they only have about 5k miles of tread left. I also have a full size (205/55-16) spare on a wrx wheel in the car. I have a lifetime alignment at Firestone so I can get an alignment done before the car is purchased.
The driving lights are Hella FF1000 with 55w bulbs in them, one light is a driving pattern, the other is a pencil beam. They are wired up to come on with the brights. The seats are from a bugeye WRX and are super comfortable and supportive, great improvement over stock in every way.
There is nothing wrong with the car mechanically, engine and transmission are perfect. The cd player doesn't like ejecting discs all the way so you have to use something to get in there and pull the cd out whenever you eject. The sensor that tells you the drivers door is open doesn't work very well, this just means that the door light on the dash doesn't come on when the drivers door is open, and the dome light doesn't come on when the drivers door is open. There are also some dents that can be seen in the pictures.
If you have any questions, or want to see some more pictures let me know.
144k- the following were replaced: spark plugs and wires, gas filter, timing belt, cam seal, crank seal, water pump, ac belt, power steering belt, valve gasket, also some miscellaneous hoses that were cracking were replaced.
148k- KYB GR2 Outback struts installed. These raised the car a couple of inches to the height of an Outback. I also got the 18mm Outback rear sway bar to go along with the lift.
154k- Replaced radiator and thermostat.
159k- New clutch put in.
165k- New alternator put in.
167k- Tie rod end and 2 rack and pinion boots replaced.
174k New battery installed.
