FS: Blue Modded 2002 WRX ($24k obo)
I'm selling my 2002 WRX with under 16,000 miles. It is WRB blue and has been my baby. Here are the mods:
Perrin Lowering Springs
17" Rota Sub-Zero Wheels
Nitto Neo Gen Tires
Rotora Big Brake Kit (4pot front, new rotors front and back, SS brake lines, Motul fluid)
VF-34 turbo
APS Top-Mount Intercooler
Walboro Fuel Pump
STi injectors
Perrin Catless Uppipe
Perrin Catless Downpipe
GReddy Evo Exhaust
Perrin Lightened Crank Pulley
AEM Cold Air Intake
STi Engine Mounts
Cobb Tranny Mount
Cobb Short-shifter
GReddy Turbo and EGT guages
BLITZ Turbo Timer
Wings West Body Kit
STi Hood Scoop
STi Spoiler
APS Air splitter
ECUTEK Reflash
These mods were added at 10,000 miles or later with most of them being installed at about 14,000 miles, so they are basically new.
I have cared for the car very well and it is in perfect condition.
I will be happy to disclose the name of the shop that did most of the work and you can talk to the mechanic/tuner yourself. He stands by his work.
Please send me emails if you have any comments or questions. I'd be happy to talk about this car with you.
Please send me an email at jec@princeton.edu or call me at 917-991-2247 and ask for James, since I don't check my PMs too often.
Asking price is $24k

advice?
Okay,
Does anyone have any advice on why I'm getting no responses to this thread?
Considering I'm willing to take just about any offer, shouldn't this car be worth something above $0?
Given the STi is out, but come on....there has to be someone interested at some price.

Everybody's right. Modded cars don't sell well unless you price them close to unmodded. Basically all the mods you have are worth anywhere from 10 to 15 cents on the dollar installed. I'm guessing that you spent about 15 grand or so on mods and your car in unmodded form is worth about 16k-18k. Add about 2 grand for your mods and there you go. 20k is probably a more realistic price. If you need more cash, sell the parts separately on this forum or NASIOC and then sell the car as stock. You'll make out a lot better. Unless of course you don't want to put in the effort to take everything off. Just my $.02
