FS: 2008 Sti-$28.5k

I am selling my new 2008 Subaru Sti with 4700 miles on it. Its metallic silver with a black/gray interior. I truly love and enjoy this car, but I am forced to sell it due to financial difficulties. The car is in showroom condition, no dings or scratches anywhere. It still smells brand new. This is the base package sti, without bbs wheels and foglights, which are a option from the dealer. Its always been garaged, and very well taken care of. Never modified except window tint. I am also open to old subaru trades so i can get rid of the payment, they must be in good condition and 5spd contact me (Jay) for more info: 916-531-0531. Asking $28500.

i just tried, but the WRX and STi for 08 aren't on KBB. It's worth atleast $33k for sure. How much did you pay OTD for this thing?

I have to agree with the consensus so far in regard to the price. Although it is only a base model, and although 2008 is not yet over, you should be able to get more than $29K, especially since some '07, and even '06, STis are going for above 29. And since it is in showroom condition, as you say, I think a number at least two grand above what you are currently asking would not be unreasonable at all. Just my $.02.

I don't know on the price; Subaru is now offering $7K(!!!) off MSRP for the remaining '08 STis at their high volume dealerships plus 0% financing for 63 months for everyone....

Some people have reported on NASIOC getting base model ones for ~$29.5K...

Yes it is...they know they made a mistake with the new WRX 2009 model coming out with good power.

So they are trying to get rid of the cars

^^^ ****in eh. i think they pissed off a lot of 08 owners. should have given them a better trade in deal for the 08. or maybe they shouldnt have made such a butt *** ugly car.

but with the 09's being how they are I am not surprised the are trying to get rid of the 08's

I just called the Walnut Creek Subaru, they are still letting them go at invoice. Anyone know what is considered a high volume dealership?

Try Steven Creek Subie in San Jose. They are like #1 in Northern CA and 3rd in the US. They have an Internet no-haggle dept.

Check out the NASIOC thread here:

i think that this is a awesome car, its very useful due to the rear hatch, and it still kicks butt, and the wrx just doesn't look as cool,no fender flares or the big brakes, or hid's. and let's keeping this dealer stuff out of my fs thread would be appricated.
