CA: 04 STi Black/Gold 31K mi
Well, I need a new daily driver and can't afford a big monthly payment. So that means I have to part with my favorite toy to put a large downpayment on the new car.
This is an adult owned, well maintained, tastefully modded 2004 Java Black Pearl STi with 30,756 miles as of today. I am the original owner with a clean title. I've always kept the car garaged and covered. It's only seen rain three times and snow once.
I purchased my STi on October 22, 2003 from Bob Baker Chevrolet/Subaru in El Cajon, CA while on a business trip. It's one of the first JBP Sti's sold in Northern California. This car came from the factory with:
Popular Equipment Group 2B-Auto Dimming Mirror/Compass and Security System Upgrade Kit.
Before heading home to far Northern CA to wait for delivery of the car I ordered the following dealer-installed accessories:
Projector Beam Halogen Foglights; Armrest Extension; Gauge Cluster (oil temp., turbo boost gauge, alt.) mounted in place of the digital clock.
Exterior....Once home, while the paint was still new, I had a Clear Guard Kit (AKA clear bra) applied to the entire front facia area of the car plus the front of the side mirrors and the door edges. Later I added Head Light Armor-GT Yellow Headlights and Foglight Kit. Then I bought an OEM custom fit car cover to protect it all.
Engine/Performance....Basically stock to maintain driveability, reliability, and increase gas mileage:
Cobb Access Port-version 1, Stage 2
Cobb Turboback exhaust with a hi-flow cat and urethane hangars
K&N drop in air filter (stock airbox)
Gruppe-S Pro Tune by Mike Warfield (now owner of GST Motorsports in Hayward, CA and builder/tuner of the fastest Time Attack Subarus around)
2 Maps-91 oct., 100 oct.
Suspension/Brakes....Nothing exotic, just basic common sense:

That STi is beautiful. This is just what I want, too bad there's no money =\. Bump for a very clean and well-maintained car, not to mention low mileage. This car at the dealer will prolly be about $30k.
