For Sale: Blue 1999 Subaru Impreza RS.
This car has numerous Sit upgrades/options that I brought back from Japan. I brought back the following Sit options/upgrades:

1. rear sway bar (STi)
2. springs 1.25 drop in front, 1.75 in rear (STi)
3. quick/short shifter (STi)
4. front strut tower bar (STi)
5. WRX STi badging (for Japan 1999, WRX/STi versions)
6. Momo red/black steering wheel (with air bag) & matching shift ****
7. And more I am sure I am forgetting about
8. Sit metal pedals

-Car has less than 44,000 miles. I am the original owner
and have owned it since late 1999.
-PW, PDL, PS, PB (disk) and all the other standard options fro the RS
-headers with 2.5 inch exhaust
-am/fm/CD player
--12” Sub in the trunk/Sony Amp
--infinity separates in the front
-Billet Aluminum end links (rear)
-KYB Adjustable struts, 4 settings front & 8 settings rear)
-Prodrive rims, less than 1500 miles on them, 17 inch
-Kumo tires, less than 1500 miles on them
-Aftermarket light bulbs, both headlight and driving (fog lights)

I just retired from the US Air Force (22 years) and purchased a 2003 350Z, Track version. It also maybe for sale, at a later date. That is why I have lost interest in the RS.
I will put my Z into storage. I would have avoided all of this if I knew the AF was medically retiring me. These are the only reasons I am sell the car. It is in great shape except for those scratches. Body shop says the key marks can be fixed for less than $300.00.

I have over $5000.00 invested in accessories alone on this car.

PS There is another add to sell my car here a few months ago. I am recently back from Japan and found my car was dogged out by a club member. I only want to mention this because I have nothing to hide. The car is sweet!!!

 

I am sorry for the delay. I do not acually live in Olympia, my kids do. I am pretty much at there mercy. I am here to visit my kids and I do not know anyone else here. My home is in Japan, so all of my things are in Japan. I was recently hired by FedEx and will be here until 8 Apr 05 or so.

My son promised to drop his digital off by yestreday. If don't get one from him today, I will go buy a digital cam to get those pics everyone wants.

I am being told that I will have pics tonight. I will also have a pic of the key marks. I am selling the RS because I am going to Iraq for a few years and I only have room to put one car in covered storage (friends garage). Between the RS and my newer Nissan 350Z I had to choose the Z. If I can't sell the RS for what I want, another friend has offered me there garage.

Sorry for the phone, I can only charge it in my car. I do not have a normal charger. My daughter drove the car lastnight and hit a poll. I have to replace the front bumper and one fog light.

I have already ordered the parts. Since I leaving on or about 9 April to go back to Iraq, I will have no time to mount the fender. So my only choice to sell the car as it is and i'll get a new bumper and fog light for the new owner to ffix. Or I can put it back in storage until late summer when I'll take another vacation.

The air bags didn't deploy and it can be driving. I can meet anyone to chrck out the car after 1pm.

I forgot to tell everyone, my car hit a pole yeasterday. Not hard enough to make the airbags deploy. I have a pic of that to. I have ordered a new front bumper and foglight. I am leaving soo, I think best for me to sell the car with the dented up bumper. I will supply the fog light and front bumper.
