Blue Book is 27.5K
Asking 26K
Car has the following specs:
2005 STi
22,000 miles
Vin Available upon request
Factory options:
Factory Alarm
Factory Short Shifter
Mud flaps
WRX wing
Ive added:
Window tint
Kartboy short shifter (the stock one feels "cheap" to me but I have it in a bag if you want to go back)
I am an adult and am meticulous about my cars. I bought the first WRX when it hit the states in 2002. I loved it so much I bought this STi new in 2005 from Carlsen in Redwood city. The 2005 is radically different from the 2004 with a new, better looking interior, a much more pleasant suspension, and a more street oriented front differential amongst other refinements. I owned it thinking i would keep this car "forever" but I will be relocating to Asia shortly and cannot ship my cars with me. I've loved this car like my own child (literally).
First thing I did was switch the oversized STi wing to the more reasonable WRX wing. I followed break-in by the book with an extra oil change at 1000 miles. I also changed the tranny and rear diff fluid at 6 months with Subaru specific fluids. The car has generally been dealer maintained. I recently had the 20K checkup at 19K miles and a 22K mile oil change. I use the car almost exclusively for commuting to work and 2 trips to tahoe a year
