2002 WRB WRX w/Cobb stage 2.5 315 hp!!
Hello,
She's a 2002 WRB WRX w/44,500 miles on her. I'm the second owner. I bought her in June of 2003 in Massachusetts when she had 28,000 miles on her and was still stock. Since then she's been modded a bit....
Cobb AccessPort- currently running stage 2.5
Factory alarm
VF30 turbo
STi pink injectors
Walbro high flow fuel pump
Bosal twin dump downpipe
Daddy's 3rd cat eliminator
MBRP catback
APS silicone y-pipe
Mr. Josh's lightened crank pulley
K&N air filter
STi High Pressure Radiator cap
Running "water wetter" in radiator
Aluminum radiator shroud
STi v7 takeoff struts and springs
Whiteline rear sway bar (22-24mm adj)
2004 Upgraded rear swaybar mounts (not installed yet)
Kartboy rear swaybar endlinks
STi replica front strur bar
MRT rear strut bar
Kartboy short shifter w/bushings & shift ****
Whiteline steering rack bushings
STi hardened pitch mount
Goodrich stainless steel brake lines
STi stainless steel clutch line (not installed yet)
DBA slotted/cross-drilled rotors w/gold top hats
Motul RBF600 brake fluid
Axxis Ultimate brake pads (front and rear)
H6 rear rotor upgrade (larger rotors and caliper bracket)
Falken Azenis ST-115 225/45/17 tires
17" Rota Tarmacs (Gold)
STi carbon fiber sidemarkers
STi solid foglight covers (not on car yet)
White headlight and foglight bulbs (don't remember the make)
DIY grounding mod
DIY hood scoop screen mod
Painted sideskirts
As you can see she's been modded pretty nicely all around. She has 315hp and 290 lbs of tq according to Cobb. She could make close to 350hp with the turbo and there's a few options that one could do...
-Keep her the way she is
-Get a larger TMIC and data log her with Delta dash. Send the info to Cobb for a custom map.
-Get a larger TMIC, sell the AccessPORT and go to a ECUTek
-Wait until Cobb releases stage 3
In the meantime, she's really fast and can hang with STi's and EVO's no problem. I've outrun S2000's, S4's, Modded Mustang GT's, 350Z's....
She's never been dynoed but others with a similar setup have gotten around 260hp to the wheels. I estimate that a good driver could get her into the very low 13's and maybe even break into the 12's.
The exterior is very clean and only has a few small scratches that are expected in a car that's 3 years old. She's never been in any accidents. The interior is very nice and basically stock. The muffler is loud, but sounds nice and growls. I get a lot of compliments on how she sounds.
Here's what she needs-
The driver's side mirror fell off (just the reflective piece, not the whole thing) and needs to be replaced. That should be easy and cheap.
The 3rd cat eliminator's bracket buzzes a bit against the crossmember and needs to have a bit cut off. Another easy and cheap fix.
I'd suggest new front brake pads within the next few thousand miles.
That's it. Otherwise, she's nice. She also comes with a bunch of stock parts and parts I have not yet installed like...
Stock springs
Stock 3rd cat
Stock shift ****
Stock crank pulley
Alteeza tailights
STi clutch cable
30' roll heat wrap
Ceramic coated turbo heatshield
K&N filter cleaner
Plus other things on the above list that say "not installed yet"
If you have questions, please pm me or email me at rossscarbro@yahoo.com. Please don't ask questions here. I can e mail you pics as well.
I'm asking $17,500. The KBB value is $18,200 and I've ceratinly put thousands and thousands into her.
I'm in San Diego CA
Thanks,
Ross
