i had this issue on another forum with people from the UK so let me clarify : the UK plate on the car is for "appearance" purposes only. it is not the original plate that was issued on the car (seeing how its a LHD german model to begin with). this plate did not make it across the pond with the car and was purchased separately on ebay. it is not currently valid in the UK or the USA and is on the car for looks only. think of it as a bumper sticker or other appearance item. the car will not be sold with this UK plate on it. the car comes with a legal california title, registration and license plate. the vehicle is a 1995 model.
