1989 BMW 325is street/track car
It is a 1989 BMW 325is with 95700 miles on the chassis. The car is heavily modified as you will see below.
The engine is a $12,000 Stroker engine that was subcontracted by Dinan of Mountian View, CA. The block is from a carbureted “eta” motor and the head is from the fuel injected “i” motor. This chages the engine from 2.5 liters to 2.7. Then it was bored out by 30mm and the throw was increased by 11mm. The engine has about 45000 on it.
The intake is a K&N cone filter but I still have the stock airbox for smog tests.
The exhaust is still stock.
The suspension was also been drastically altered. Koni springs and Bilstein shocks stiffen all four corners. This also lowers the car by 1.5 inches. Racing Dynamics strut tower bars are in the front and rear. All the bushings are now polyurethane for reliability sake.
The brake disks are cross-drilled and the pads are Porterfield R4S’s.
This car has performed brilliantly at Thunder Hill Motorsports Park yet is absolutely street legal. The stereo is a Nakamichi CD-45z CD player with amber display to match the interior.
The asking price is $7000

Hp
The only Dyno I did was a Mustang Dyno (which suck *** as I've come to find out). It was in Aug and it was 106 degrees in the shop it was in. There was no fan for the intake either. It read at 166 hp at the wheels. From some research I've found that I can gain about 20% if I had the fan and it was'nt hot as hell. To give you an idea it can do 14.2 quarter miles. That beats a new 350Z and a Porshe Boxster!
