Your main reason for buying a Subaru?
Since the first commerical back in 02 when subaru debuted the wrx to the US. I was locked into by its looks first. The wrx had a unique style to it compared to those civics and plus subaru back then was not all that popular. That's one of the reasons why I liked it even more because it was a new model here in the US. Ever since I've wanted one and finally purchased a 05 wrx and just fell in love with my subby. Subaru for life lol

I bought it because of magazine and tv commercials. Seriously. I traded in my Si about a year before it came out for a Nissan Sentra SE (needed 4 doors). I was down for about a year. After I started seeing commercials and WRC was starting to get pretty big and I was dead set. I had no idea about Subarus, what this car was capable of, what the price was but I headed out to the dealer and gave them my Sentra (after the test drive of course). The rest is history.

Oh - I voted looks. I hate having the same car as the guy next to me on the road.

i always wanted one as a teen and now imfortunate to know how to shave my money so i got one, that and the fact that my chevy colorado had a $10,000 resale value so saw the opertuneity to buy so i did.
It was a toss up for me between an 05 EVO, the STi and an 04 Cobra. I like the way they all look but I decided I wanted AWD and from there the STi had what I wanted. I knew the tranny in the STi was way better than the EVO and I knew I'd have it for a while so the EJ25 technology would eventually compare to that of the 4G63.
Looks. I started watching speed channel after i saw fast and the furious, and i really enjoyed rallies. Saw the WRX on tv, but never on the road. I read about it online and liked the performance almost as much as the looks.

My friends girlfriend, told me "ill **** anyone who drives a Subaru" so i bought one.
Seriously tho:
I'd love to say performance but I have an auto. So, I'll go with looks and handling.

My man has a 2005 which i like as well, but i bought mine based on looks, i already knew it for the performance.

Couldn't resist a boxer motor, AWD, wide fenders (yes I consider that a performance feature), forced induction from the factory, and a myriad of aftermarket options for under $16k; when I bought my 03' WRX with 58k on it.
The pleasing odd looks were just a bonus.
