if you wanna street race, get a domestic. if you want a rsx S or a WRX there more for road courses and such, but to answer your question a WRX is faster on the straight then a RSX but on a HWY battle the rsx might be up there.

the topic has been discuss a lot. You can even find it in a search! hA!

But hey, it doesn't hurt to tell again, right?

RSX-S is FWD, launches are harder but with the weight of the car, it takes off quite well if not better.

WRX is AWD and launches are hard in a way and you can bog and kill the engine. If you master it, it's not that hard, you'll just jump off the line and get a car or 2 lengths ahead.

For Straight-line acceleration, get something like a Supra, Vett, Camero. Unless you want to turn the WRX into a RWD with welded or LOCKED center diff and removes frontal diffs.

It takes a lot of power to stay ahead of Vetts and Supras if you're to highway race with them. From a sanding start, you also need a lot of power so you will be accelerating at the same rate as them when you're at speeds of 70-130mph.

In a street race, you both can kill each other. All it takes is an ice patch, a person, dog that crosses the road or a loss of control.
