What would you get first HKS Circle Earth Grounding Kit or a STI Strut Bar
Just trying to decide on what next to get on my list. It's between a HKS Circle Earth Grounding Kit or a STI Strut Bar? I know that the two are totally different from each other but if you had a choice and could only get one for right now what would you get and why? Just to give you some background on my car I recently got a bunch of gauges and electronic equipment in my car so I thought that the HKS Circle Earth Grounding Kit would be nice to make sure everything is running cleanly. I also got some wheels for my car as well and thought that hey a strut bar would be nice to add to my suspension. Anyhow sorry for rambling for so long just wanted peoples opinions on what you would do. Thanks

Car Info: GC8 ej20 motor, 18" gramlights on yokos,
do a search under GROUND MODS. soon as see pix the u'll see how easy it is. u can use 8 or 10 gauge wire.
right strut bar bolt to neg. battery
left strut bar bolt to neg. battery
right manifold bolt to neg. battery
left manifold bolt to neg. battery
u will need 4 wires 8 or 10 gauge wire. which ever u prefer.
8 connectors
8 clamps
i got all mine for free b/c i work here at a garage shop. just look around yer garage if no luck then just go to HOME DEPOT and spend a couple of bucks.
instead of getting strutbars why not get frnt/rear swaybars. best mod u can do to yer car. i have the SYMS frnt/rear strutbars it helped a lil bit but after i installed the rear WHITELINE swaybar OMG what a huge improvement. i still have to install the frnt swaybar. now that i have the JIC FLT-A2 coilovers i put EVOs or STI out there.

re-grounding the car is cheap and is easy to do yourself. the car is probably still good enough with out the kit. when you are running a lot of current then concider upgrading the wiring. right now go for to STI strut bar you will be much more happy. then once the electrical equipment is installed the to the gounding.

Believe everyone else about the grounding kit. I bought the Pivot grounding kit for $75 and once I had it all installed I looked back and thought "damn, for like $30 I could have done all this with 8 gauge monster wire and it would have still looked bad ***" Buying a grounding kit is a waste of money. Besides what KINGSKY says, I put one wire to my tranny and one to my altenator. Have fun with the strut bar.

I did the grounding mod myself for about 30 bucks. I chose to go with 4 gauge and gold plated connectors. I was happy with the results and I think that it looks great, but as everyone is saying, do it yourself and spend the rest of the money on a strut bar, or better yet, look into an upgraded rear sway bar and endlinks. You'll be much happier. You will also notice a significant beneficial change in handling with the rear sway bar, whereas you may not notice much with a strut. Hope that helps.

Thanks everyone. I installed the Strut bar and i'm very please with it and I got my local JB's Automotives to do the grounding kit and it seems to run smoother. Just glad I didn't buy the HKS one cause I don't think it is worth the price. Anyhow thanks again.
