well my answer to the question... is- i like it. you can get em pretty cheap since nissan made gookus upon gookus of em... book values suck on em because of it.

booze $$$ < car $$$

seriously... not to rain on your parade but why would you want to put out a lot of money for a new ride or even put youself into debt to buy a new car because you are a little down? maybe its just me, but economically it doesn't make sense.

350z....I dont like it, not practical for me

The only reasons I see for geting one are if you like the looks, chick factor, or if it makes you happy.

i hate to burst your bubbles, but i dont see how you guys can say that the s2000 has a ****ty engine..or that it is slower than the 350Z or G35. s2000 will beat both cars at low speeds and is only about .2 seconds slower in the quarter mile. go to infinieon if you dont believe me, s2k owners can clock in at 13.8 - 13.9. the s2k has a sleek design and an amazing designed engine. a 2.0 liter engine pumping out 240 horses is f'ing incredible. besides, the s2000, does not dyno at 189. fyi buddy, s2k's dyno in from about 200whp to 207whp. the engine also is not also very responsive to mods unless you get a vafc, supercharger, turbocharger, or new gears. simple bolt ons with give you a increase of maybe 7whp max. you talk about handling and this car is fun to drive as well as handles like a monster. the car's weight is perfectly centered to the middle and handles like a ae86 forcefed with horsepower.

dont get me wrong now, before owning a s2k, i loved the 350Z. it's torquehappy and nice *** interior. and the g35, wow, that car is hot and fast. but to say that these cars are necessarily better because they have v6 and torque, is a personal opinion. thats like saying the evo's are necessarily better than subi's.

all i gotta say is if you want a true "roadster" get a s2000, not the ****ty knockoff miata. if you want a well designed interior, familyish car, get the g35. but if you want the qualities of a g35 but more roadsterish, get the 350Z.

my buddy just whooped a s2k the other day......he was driving a '71 Cadillac hearse (<---spell check) of course his car has a fully built 472.....it only puts down 400hp, but it has something crazy like 600lb/ft of torque, it also weighs in at a scant 4700lbs.

350z's are wack, the door handle makes me want to puke.....

the interior is just as cheap as a new Mustang....

get the G35 6mt.

running on re-92s, a 350z couldn't keep up with me in some mountain twisties.. the only time he passed me was in the long straight when I didn't go over 190km/h (didn't want to go near speed rating of tires) but as soon as the next curve came, I was passing him again...

edit: me= stage 2 bugeye w/ rsb

Being a Nissan owner, I am quite partial to the 350z. IMHO its a very sharp looking car, but I was never too impressed with V6's. Just my 2 cents. Now the ORC z33 with the RB26 is a different story

Didn't like it, plus it looks bad. Get the G35 6M if you like the 350z
