i've owned a mustang. i have an STi now... if i had the chance to redo my decision i might have opted the new mustang- modifying them is so much easier and definitely cheaper-

i'm sure if we had roads like europe i'd get full use of my STi.. here in hawaii we are limited to FLAT courses with either cones or very short laps.

Im not so sure about that. The Subarus are some of the cheapest to modify. Mustang mods are somewhat limited without rebuilding the engine, and a supercharger costs a lot. You can get a VF34 turbo for a WRX for around $900. There are many packages for under $2k that boost power by like 30%. I don't think an ECU reflash and exhaust yield the same power increases for the Mustang.

I owed all three a 02 wrx 235whp , 04 Sti 279whp and 89 mustang GT supercharged 450whp all are expensive to make go fast. I like the new mustang cobra GT but opt for a Volvo AWD S60R IPD reflash, IPD anti swaybar & TME catback exhaust , It's what I call the professional persons performance car. Oh yea I still have the Sti.
