Man, this sucks. How come we don't get that?
I want a little JDM putt-putt but we get none in the US.
Is it possible to buy it there and register it here?

buying vehicles in Canada and registering them here isn't that hard at all. i don't personally know the details on how its done, but motorcycle guys have been doing it forever. Canada gets lots of 400cc supersport bikes that are popular in lightweight superbike classes, and guys bring them in all the time. i think he hardest part is generally the duties when bringing them across the border.

Just out of curiosity, but did you just realize the fact that the Vitz was in N/A north of the border hiding under the echo label?
I test drove it.. Nothing spectacular. word is, a turbo version will be offerred next year...

I know that ECHO is Vitz, but we do not get the hatch version here. Only the "pregnant" and "bloaded" sedan.
VITZ is nice. At $13,000 USD that car is cool. Slap a Top Secret turbo kit on it and zip around like a madman.
