what is the top speed of a wrx.. is their a speed limiter.. of course there has to be.. but what exactly is it..

yeah top ive gotten on this random empty road, no homes, freeways/highways, or people for probly 5 miles, was 130.. and it still seemed like it was going preaty strong..

i could imagine it could go faster than 140 if its not limited...i maxed out my 00' Si at 135 and the steering wheel was shaking like **** and it just didnt feel right...of course the civic wasnt stock but still it was a civic, im sure a rex could go well past 135.

i hit 140 stock, its at about 5500 rpms in 5th gear so its got plenty more to go

who cares...why is anybody driving that fast? max speed is the posted speed limit unless ur at the track. then the max speed is up to ur cars potential.

i buried the needle once on the speedometer.

it was faster than i needed to go, lets just say that.

I believe I remember hearing that the MT WRX's are limited at 140mph and the auto's are much lower, like 115mph.

I also remember hearing that the car is aero limited around 150mph anyways.

Before you say you went 140 mph, keep in mind that speedometer error increases, the faster you go. At 130-140 mph it could be off by 10 mph.

its probably more accurate to calculate with rpms
